How it all started...
Avoca was started over 60 years ago and has a rich history of serving the Community and Families who attend through the truth in the Word of God. Bob Robinson was instrumental in taking Avoca through the greatest seasons of growth it had known. It was a beacon of light and hope in the Community and served others with love and grace. It has been a long journey to get to where it is today and the road hasn't always been fun or easy. There has been difficult roads and seasons, but the incredible legacy of love and generosity still lives on each and every day.
Expanding the vision...
The Vision started by Bob Robinson was handed off to other leaders over the years who have seen Avoca through many challenges including Covid years, Transitions and Changes. They led in love and carried on the vision and mission of what Avoca has always stood for: Helping people grow in their walk with Jesus!
Where we are headed...
With a new season of Ministry now at Avoca with new leadership and vision, we are humbled and excited to carry on the Legacy of what has been but in the direction of Growth God has called us to! We know God is doing a new work in the life of Avoca and we are calling all to join in on His activity! This year and every year forward we will be building on the strong foundations of our early years but arming ourselves with the vision for what is to come! Spiritual Growth, Discipleship, Fellowship and Ministry Growth will all be the theme for this new season and we want you to be a part of it!
