With more than 25 years of ministry experience, Pastor Eric leads with a deep commitment to living an authentic, Christ-centered life. His passion for abiding in Christ shapes both his leadership and his teaching. Ministry has taken him and his family across the country, and now God has brought him back home to Avoca—his home church—where he continues to serve with gratitude, purpose, and a shepherd’s heart.

Haley grew up in this church and carries a deep love for its people and its mission. She leads with a passion for worship and a deep desire to help others encounter God. As Worship Leader and Creative Director, she brings creativity, musical excellence, and a heart for cultivating an atmosphere where the church can worship freely and authentically.

With almost a decade of classroom experience, Shannon brings a heart for teaching and a passion for nurturing young faith. Her background in education equips her to create engaging environments where kids feel safe, seen, and excited to learn about God’s love. Shannon’s leadership blends creativity, structure, and deep care—empowering volunteers, partnering with families, and helping every child grow in faith from the ground up.

Elijah brings fresh energy, relatability, and a commitment to helping students grow in their faith. He has a passion for the Word of God, a heart for seeing young people discover who they are in Christ, and the ability to connect with teens right where they are.

Brenda has been in leadership within various Churches for the last 10 years. Serving in Women's Ministry, Church Organization and Structure as well as in various other ministry settings Brenda brings giftings of communicating the Word of God to all and is an example of a life abiding in Christ.

Ryan has been leading worship since he was just eight years old, growing into a seasoned musician with a deep love for leading the church in worship. As Music Director, he leads the band with excellence, drawing from years of experience and a passion for creating authentic worship moments.

Ian and Annie create a safe, nurturing, and joy-filled environment where our youngest attenders—infants through Pre-K—can experience God’s love. With hearts full of compassion and a servants' heart, they partner with families to ensure every child feels cherished, secure, and welcomed from their very first visit on. 

Alyssa has been involved in Church production for many years. With professional training and a deep skillset, Alyssa leads the Production team in Excellence to ensure a true Worship Environment for all who come to Avoca! 

Richard brings a strong financial background shaped by years of experience as a partner at an accounting firm. His expertise in stewardship, budgeting, and financial oversight help ensure the church’s resources are managed with integrity and clarity.

Shawnee has been a leader in Childcare for many years. She now leads the Littlest Angels Daycare with a heart for families and kids. She serves her families with joy and gives of herself in all she does.
